If you are a Police SWAT/TRT/SRT sniper or a designated marksman for your agency and have completed a basic sniper/precision rifle course or want to continue your training, this course is ideal for you. This course will teach you to shoot in winds at greater distances. Shoot movers. You will shoot in and around urban settings. You will learn current urban hide-site construction, use and considerations. This course uses a lot of non-standard shooting positions and you will use them during shooting scenarios throughout the course. You will get your heart rate up while conducting an urban scrambler and shooting out of buildings, into vehicles or into other buildings. You will see the effects glass has on your bullet downrange, a must for shooting in close-proximity to a hostage or civilians. You will also learn to rapidly engage multiple targets in a short period of time, a must in preparing for a multi-person, active shooter scenario.
Topics included, but not limited to: Urban Hides discussion, engaging suspects in vehicles, shooting through glass, reading and adjusting for wind, Live fire scenarios, small urban scrambler (while shooting), an unknown distance challenge, rapid engagement techniques, urban movement, positional shooting, movers, and reporting techniques.
